Netball in Australia and New Zealand has entered an exciting era with the development of a Trans-Tasman competition. The new ANZ Championship commenced in 2008 bringing together five teams from Australia and five teams from New Zealand competing in an action-packed 17-week season from April until July.
The West Coast Fever are an Australian netball team based in Perth. West Coast Fever was launched last year as the new look team for WA with the 2008 squad made up of seven former Perth Orioles players and three imports.
