Rob Thomas is the lead singer of Matchbox Twenty. This band has been extremely successful to date. Rob has also now become a successful solo artist in his own right. He's planning his return to Australia this summer for a limited series of concerts. He'll be playing throughout different arena's in Australia and even hitting up the popular A Day on the Green winery series.

Rob Thomas is one of modern music’s most compelling and commercially successful artists. Between Matchbox Twenty, his solo work, and his various collaborations with artists such as Santana and Mick Jagger, his tally now stands at more than 80 million albums sold worldwide. The Grammy Award winner has his name on an impressive number of smash hits including US #1s Push, 3AM, If You're Gone, Bent, How Far We've Come, the Carlos Santana hit Smooth, as well as on other major tracks such as Real World, Back 2 Good, Little Wonders, Mad Season, and Bright Lights. Amongst the string of accolades bestowed upon Thomas, he was named Billboard's songwriter of the year two years running and has been honored with the Songwriters Hall of Fame's Starlight Award.

It is easy to let the charts and numbers overshadow the essential reason he’s come so far in the first place.
